Reach Zero fatalities and Zero Serious Injuries by 2030

Setting targets for casualty reductions in road traffic

1.The target 50 by30, reduce fatalities and serious injuries by half till 2030 should be considered as an interim target only, as Victims cannot accept still 13.000 in the EU 600.000 killed worldwide & many more seriously Injured, especially as no provision is given for their support.

Even if the European Roads are always described being the safest one in the world we cannot be happy with the results of the last 5 years as there was a slow progress in reducing the numbers of casualties, the target 2020 is out of reach anyway.

The number of people who die every week on EU roads is equivalent to 3 Boeing 737s going down and killing everyone on board. 3 planes every week.

Unimaginable for aviation is the everyday on our roads.

2.So FEVR has launched the Vision Zero In Cities Campaign during the EU mobility week in September 2019

3.Was the target of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety to reduce fatalities by half during 2010-2020 a success?
Don´t think so:

So lets hope that the next decade we will have more success on our goal towards Vision Zero, the only target accepted by road traffic victims.
